Auto LPG in India should confirm to Indian Standard Code IS-14861 which specifies the composition and vapour pressure requirements. Our brand Super Gas-Hi Drive confirms to IS specifications.
The consumer saves about 30-40% on his existing petrol costs. The other benefits are reduced maintenance and longer engine life.
The exhaust emissions of vehicles running of Auto LPG emit
  • Less CO
  • Less HYDROCARBONS
  • Less NO
  • Less OZONE DEPLETION as compared to vehicles running on petrol.
For conversion of Petrol vehicles one needs to provide an LPG conversion kit and fixed Auto LPG storage tank vehicle. The conversion usually is finished in a few hours. These kits normally allow duel-fuel use and switching between petrol & Auto LPG can easily be done during running.

Safety Advice: The kit fitment must be done from only the RTO authorized converters in your town or city. The LPG kits must be approved by statutory bodies like CCOE and Institutions like ARAI (Automobile Research Association of India) and VRDE (Vehicle Research and Development Establishment).

The LPG Tank should also be ISI approved.
NO - The use of removable cylinders for vehicle usage is not only illegal; it is also very unsafe. Only fixed LPG tanks should be fitted in the vehicle.
Auto LPG tanks are designed to very stringent parameters. Actual crash & impact demonstrations have been carried out to prove that LPG powered vehicles are equally safe.
