SUPERGAS has launched a groundbreaking safety initiative with the implementation of Project TOC (Transportation Operation Centre) Smart Drive, an AI-powered fleet monitoring system designed to revolutionize road safety standards across their transportation network.
Technology That Saves Lives
The innovative system leverages AI cameras to provide comprehensive 24/7 real-time monitoring of both drivers and their surrounding environment.
“With TOC smart drive, we are doing a cultural change towards transport safety, improving drivers' behavior with the potential to save lives, prevent incidents and injuries, and ensure drivers well-being.” explains the project implementation team.
The system's primary focus centers on detecting critical safety events that could potentially lead to accidents or operational disruptions. This AI-powered platform excels in identifying three fundamental safety risks:
- Unauthorized Access Control
- Driver Alertness Monitoring
- Collision Prevention
Comprehensive Safety Components include AI enabled cameras, Multilingual In-cabin voice alerts, advances distraction detection, frontal collision warning, speed and safety compliance monitoring, cloud-based telephony integrations and storage system.
Proactive Safety Philosophy
What sets Project TOC Smart Drive apart is its proactive approach to safety management. Rather than simply recording incidents after they occur, the system actively intervenes to prevent dangerous situations from developing.
The real-time AI-driven voice alert system provides immediate feedback to drivers about potentially risky behaviors or environmental conditions. This instant communication helps correct dangerous situations before they escalate into serious incidents.
The successful deployment of this comprehensive safety system underscores SUPERGAS's dedication to leveraging advanced technology for protecting lives and enhancing operational efficiency across transportation network.
