Templates

All the basic templates

that you might need

Please read the information below to secure how you use the templates optimally, and before publishing them.

README

When using one of these templates, it is critical that you remember to do the following:

  1. Make a copy of the template you want to create an actual page from – you can use the 'Copying › Copy to' function to copy the template and move it to its correct position in the site tree

  2. Remember to set 'RobotNoIndex' and 'RobotNoFollow' correctly on each page you create based on the templates (on template pages, these features are pre-activated to avoid any indexing of following of template pages with only filler content)

  3. Make sure to remove any modules from the template page that you do not need on your specific page

  4. Add any additional modules that are not part of the template, if you need to do so

  5. Go through each module that is part of the template and make sure to update any text (incl. ALT texts, meta titles, etc.) for each module before you are ready to publish the page

  6. Insert final images that should be in each of the modules, so that you do not have any "test images" appearing on the page

  7. Redirect any links, buttons, or similar, in all modules to the correct destinations on your site (or externally)

  8. Check the 'Links receiver page' to see if any modules or pages still refer to this page as their destination (see image below for how to check this) – if this is the case, go to the relevant page and module to update the link

Within Sitecore Content Editor, you find the 'Links receiver page' and go to the 'Navigate' tab to find the CTA 'Links' – this will show all links to the page including the page and module where it originates from
