Our customer is a leading organization operating in the field of Research, Development and Manufacture of world class oncology drugs. The customer was using Furnace Oil in their 2.8 MT Forbes Marshall Boiler for steam generation with a consumption of 60 MT per month


  • They were looking for a sustainable solution as their Carbon Footprint went overhead and took a conscious decision to curtail it.
  • They were unaware of the advantages LPG offered over polluting liquid fuels such as Furnace Oil.
  • They are facing challenge with the product quality 

There was an inherent need of a solution to help the customer with a solution that is sustainable both at the long run with value adds.


Their major objective was to have a cleaner and sustainable approach to manufacturing without compromising on

We suggested our 12 X 450 Maxima installation with heaterless vapouriser instead of conventional electrical vapouriser.

The advantages of maxima installation over conventional systems are:

  • Reduced installation space: 85% ( for bulk ) and 60% ( for LOT )
  • Enhanced safety feature: Reduction in joints by 70% compared to conventional LOT systems
  • Huge savings: On yearly maintenance and statutory approvals
  • Easier to handle: , 14 LOT cylinders = 1 Maxima

The advantages of heaterless vapouriser over conventional electrical vapourisers are:

  • Cost effective: Can save based on the capacity of vapouriser
  • Lower maintenance: Built with materials that does not corrode easily
  • Safe: Duly approved by PESO
  • Reliable: Trouble-free operation due to lower temperature and optimal operating pressure
  • Ease of Operation: No initial start up time required


  • Productivity increased as 1 Kg of Furnace oil used to give them 12.30 Kg of steam while LPG system after optimisation, 1 Kg of LPG is providing 16.30 Kg of steam.
  • They were able to save 555 MT of CO2 release every year as compared to 60 MT of Furnace Oil.
