LPG is used to turn solid aluminum ingots or scrap into liquid at high intensity heat (up to 2400°F) and hold the metal at a precise temperature to ensure it is ready for casting.
During the casting process, LPG is used to preheat the dies and molds preventing thermal shock and create a perfect shape without defects. 
LPG provides the uniform, consistent temperature required in annealing ovens to change the metal's structure.
